Pilot Mound Housing Cooperative Ltd - Mound Estates 4-Plexes for Seniors

Pilot Mound's 4-Plexes, or Mound Estates, are incorporated as Pilot Mound Housing Cooperative Ltd. All tenants are members of this cooperative. It is a Life-Lease program - meaning that the tenants invest an equity which is refundable when they leave or an estate takes over.

Water, taxes, maintenance and building insurance are all paid by the co-operative, however tenants are responsible for their own hydro bills and are responsible for insurance on personal suite contents. With the exception of undue damage, indoor replacements of major appliances owned by the co-operative, and any decor such as painting or new carpeting are the financial responsibility of the board upon appproval.

The suites are 952 sq. ft. with a 308 sq. ft. attached garage. Each suite has 2 bedrooms, a large livingroom and kitchen, storage room, stove, refridgerator, washer, dryer, furnace, air conditioning, water heater, air exchange, triple pane windows and their own flower beds.
