Protective Services
IN THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY, PLEASE DIAL 911Both the communities of Pilot Mound & Crystal City have fire and ambulance services administered by Louise Emergency Response Services. Fire equipment is located in both communities.
Ambulance services are based out of Rock Lake Hospital in Crystal City. "On Call" services are shared with Manitou and Swan Lake Hospitals.
The R.C.M.P. is administered from Manitou, with a satellite office located in Crystal City.
Additionally, Pilot Mound is a Citizens on Patrol community, with the expectation that Crystal City and Clearwater soon will be as well.
Rock Lake Handy Van effective January 1, 2006.
Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Does not operate on Holidays
Arrangements could possibly be made for off-hours trips. Contact municipal office at least 24 hours prior to request time.
Rates:
$5.00 per person for a 1 way trip within the R.M. of Louise
$10.00 per person for a return trip within the R.M. of Louise
$1.00 per extra stop
$0.50 per km outside the R.M. of Louise
