The Louise Recreation Office has moved!! The new office is located in the Pilot Mound Millennium Complex. The Louise Recreation Commission is very excited about the move and it will be more a recreational setting for the office. Come down and check out the new office in the beautiful new complex! I will still be in Crystal City every Thursday from 8:30-4:30pm.
Programs that are running and have set course dates are:
Adult Intro to Computers is CANCELLED due to low registration.
Adult Computers Level 1 has changed and is now on Wednesdays from February 22 - April 4 (exclude March 28 for Spring Break) at 6-9pm with $125 registration (Manual $5). Level 1 should be taken after Intro to Computers. It is also for those with some knowledge of computers who are looking to increase their knowledge but may not have taken the beginner class.
Gymnastics is on Mondays from March 5- April 30 at 5-5:45 (3-5yrs) & 5:45-6:30 (6-8yrs) with $50 registration fee.
The Louise Recreation District is hosting two FREE workshops!
There is a Concussion Clinic Scheduled for March 7th at the Pilot Mound high school from 7-9pm.
"Steppin' Up" is the second workshop and will be on April 11 from 9-5pm (free lunch provided) in the Crystal City Friendship Centre.
You must register for both programs as space is limited and a minimum of 10 participants are required for each course.
Clearwater Playgroup is currently on at the Clearwater United Church on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. This is a Healthy Child Coalition funded program and is completely free. This "parent support" type drop in program gives parents and preschoolers a chance to play, learn, and meet other people in the community. There are guest speakers featured monthly and healthy snacks provided at each session. New Healthy Child Coalition bags will be available at next week's session!
