Pilot Mound Kinette Club

The motto of the Pilot Mound Kinette Club is "Serving the community’s greatest needs".

Women of any age are most welcome to join this club.

To serve the community, we engage in such activities as running the annual Christmas Mini-Mall, taking a turn delivering Meals on Wheels to the shut-ins, hosting the Grey Cup chicken party, running a canteen at the weekly Kin Bingos, selling Nevada tickets during Bingo, and providing financial support and committee members to a number of non-profit organization and individuals.

Along with helping others, we ensure that we are having fun along the way. We have monthly meetings to keep on top of things and treat ourselves to supper for half of the meetings. Fellowship is also enjoyed as each Kinette works one Bingo concession per month.

We belong to the national organization of Kin Clubs of Canada and therefore have to pay membership fees. In order to make this an affordable club, members pay a poultry $25 fee with the club subsidizing the rest of the fees.

We disband for the summer so time can be spend rejuvenating and relaxing with one’s family.

Every second Wednesday of the month you can find us at the Kin Centre Meeting room at the Kin Hall, 7:30 p.m. .
